What is OWN IT’s Format?
OWN IT Nepal 2026 will include 2 mainstage panels and 2 breakout sessions this year. Breakout sessions will include speed-mentoring, workshop and office-hour. Each participant will select one session to attend while filling out their registration form.Â
MAINSTAGE PANEL DISCUSSION (Open for all participants)
Panel Discussion (Theme or Field-Based):
Panel discussions are conversations centered around a specific industry, topic, or question. Speakers will discuss their experiences within the subject area as a woman and leader. They’ll draw heavily from personal experiences and real-world examples. Panel capacity will be for 150 people.Â
BREAKOUT SESSIONS: (Participants select one among these three)
Workshops (Skill-Based):Â
Workshops are hands-on sessions with the goal of teaching a singular skill or skill set and how it relates to success or leadership. These sessions will range from 50-60 people and aim to be more interactive, rather than lecture-style.
Office Hours (Relationship-Based):
Office hours are casual conversations with a small group about the speaker’s personal and professional experiences. These sessions will be largely question-and-answer in format. Participants should possess an interest in perhaps one day pursuing a career in the speaker’s field!Â
Speed Mentoring (One on one interaction):Â
Over the years, Women LEAD has established speed mentoring as its niche. Speed Mentoring is a short one-on-one conversation with a mentor who will provide guidance and clarity on the questions participants might have on the basis of their personal and professional experiences. Participants will have to come up with a question which they will discuss with 4 to 5 mentors for 10 to 15 minutes. In this session attendees can share challenges, exchange ideas and explore different perspectives.
