Women LEAD Nepal’s year-long LEAD Course program provides an intensive experience based on practical hands-on learning and personal growth. Through the LEAD Course, young women explore their own identities as leaders and changemakers within their societies.

Fee: Rs 9,000/-
Footnote: The fee can be paid in a lump sum after admittance to the course. The fee covers all course materials, a completion certificate, free lunches, unlimited access to our Chautara Resource Center, and exclusive access to Women LEAD’s alumni community and events.

Program Capacity: 30 seats
Program Duration: 11+ months

The course starts with a two-week long Leadership Institute that focuses on developing professional skills like public speaking while learning about Nepal’s most pressing current issues.

Each participant invests 300+ hours inspiring change as she co-leads a four-month long School Leadership Program (SLP) while receiving one-on-one mentoring, real-world program design and implementation, and shaping young minds.

The participants visit governmental bodies around the city to understand effective governance and accountability.

After a successful implementation of the SLP, participants engage
in a week long training on advocacy followed by formulation and execution of an
advocacy project based on current social issues.

Another two-week long workshop focused on
professional development skills curated with a multi-disciplinary approach that
imparts essential skills needed for success as professional leaders.

The program ends in June with a graduation ceremony.
