Women LEAD Nepal believes the future depends on talented, visionary and ethical young women working in key leadership positions alongside men. We run programs that provide young women with the personal and professional skills needed to pursue their vision for change. Our programs equip participants occupy key leadership positions in their schools and communities.
All eligibility criteria for our programs are fixed. Different programs have different age-bars for programs and these limitations are based on time-availability, understanding and comprehension levels and program design.
Our programs use both English and Nepali as a means of communications in our programs with a slight emphasis on English. You will need to be able to understand, read, speak and write both of these languages, at least at a basic level, to make the most out of our programs.
We only provide certificates for our training programs and not conferences. Training programs like LEAD Course, YWPLI, and skill-based workshops are accompanied by a Certificate of Completion at the end of the program. OWN IT Nepal and Public Engagement programs do not come with a certificate.
We are an equal opportunity employer, and all of our vacancies open on our website with further social media calls on Facebook and Twitter. Internships at Women LEAD are currently limited to the alumni community although some external internship calls are opened on our website.
To be an alumnus of Women LEAD Nepal, you have to have graduated from one of our key training programs. These include, but are not limited to, the LEAD Course and YWPLI.
Information on how to apply to each program is explained on the program’s specific page on this website. More details about the program appears inside the program page and online forms are also available at the bottom of each of these pages. Application links should also be posted across our social media for easier access.
We are always open to collaborate. Please send our Program Manager, Suju Poon, a message at email@example.com.
